Situated at 5 Henry St. in Brockville’s historic downtown core, the Brockville Museum features exhibits and artifacts related to Brockville’s rich Loyalist history and the city’s development as a waterfront community. Changing thematic displays and special events complement their permanent exhibits.
The artifacts in the Brockville Museum’s collection are the tangible representation of this community’s heritage. Not only is Brockville the home of Canada’s first railway tunnel, but it had a thriving automobile industry and was also the home of Stetson hats. Of particular interest to many people; on view at the museum is both an Atlas and a fully restored Briscoe automobile as well as an extensive Stetson hat exhibit.
