arthurchildThe Arthur Child Heritage Museum features two War of 1812 exhibits. The first focuses on the town of Gananoque, the story of its Founder, Col. Joel Stone and the Raid on Gananoque, September 21, 1812. Visit the model Gananoque Blockhouse and listen to a soldier’s tales of battle and life during the War years, complete with a rich display of uniforms, gunboat models and weaponry.

And on special loan from the Canadian War Museum for this summer only, visit The Four Wars of 1812, a commemorative exhibit.
